History

BrightWorks (formerly Metro ECSU) is one of nine Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSC, external site). The Minnesota Service Cooperatives were established in 1976 by the Minnesota Legislature to provide cost-effective, high-quality education services and programs to public schools/districts, cities and counties, and nonprofits in the Twin Cities metro area. This organization is member-driven and governed by a Representative Assembly and an Executive Board.

Who We Serve

BrightWorks provides comprehensive services to districts and schools in the seven-county metro area and throughout Minnesota. Our programs and resources are for superintendents, business managers, facilities directors, teaching & learning directors, special education leaders, professional development coordinators, principals, teachers, paraprofessionals, and K-12 students.
