Minnesota Service Cooperatives

BrightWorks is part of the Minnesota Service Cooperatives (external site) (MSC), a statewide network of nine regional organizations that help schools, cities, counties, and nonprofits collaborate, share resources, and access cost-effective programs and services.

A service cooperative is a public agency that works within a geographic region to provide services through a collaborative approach. BrightWorks serves the seven-county metro area.

MSC initiatives include student enrichment programs, the COMPASS Regional Network, cooperative purchasing, health insurance pools, career-connected learning, and technology solutions.

Kelly Barrick, MSC Professional Development & Partnership Lead, is based at BrightWorks. Kelly can be reached at kelly.barrick@brightworksmn.org or 612-638-1512.
