BrightWorks' special education programs are state-initiated, federally funded programs, which include:

• Early intervention strategies for children with disabilities
• Greater Minnesota Psychological Assessments for Students Who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (GM Launch PAD)
• Minnesota School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
• Network development, Charting the Cs Conference, and cutting-edge staff training
• Professional development and technical assistance for staff in the low incidence areas of Special Education

Teacher Apprenticeship provides a pathway for school employees (paraprofessionals) to earn a teaching license through job-embedded training overseen by an experienced teacher (Journeyworker) and related instruction from an approved teacher preparation provider (including higher education institutions).
